About Colibri Captures
The name Colibrí comes from the Spanish word for hummingbird — a symbol of resilience, beauty, and connection. Inspired by my grandmother’s nickname for me, Colibrí Captures is about more than photographs. It’s about preserving legacy and celebrating the love that makes your family unique.

This is our process:
I. Send the Inquiry form
Your experience begins by filling out the inquiry form. Once submitted, I will reach out to you directly to confirm if I have the date available as well as send the booking link along with the contract.
II. Confirmation of booking
Within 24 hours, you’ll receive a confirmation email. You may contact me & I’ll be here to walk you through everything, answer your questions, and make sure you feel fully prepared, supported, and excited for your session.
SESSION & GALLERY DELIVERY
On your session day, arrive on time and ready to have fun, connect, and create memories together. I’ll guide you every step of the way with prompts that feel natural and easy.
Your proof gallery will be delivered first, with your final gallery ready within three weeks of your session (weddings and events may take a bit longer).

I embrace the playful energy of kids. I use prompts and games to keep them engaged, so we can capture genuine smiles and candid moments you'll treasure.
How should we dress for our family session?
Keep it simple and comfortable. Neutrals and soft textures photograph beautifully (cream, oatmeal, taupe, gray). Avoid tiny patterns/logos. Parents and siblings please bring your own outfits—I’ll send styling guidance and color palettes so everything looks cohesive.
When's the best time to schedule maternity photos?
The ideal window is 28–34 weeks—your bump is beautifully round and you’ll still feel comfortable. Sessions can be outdoors at golden hour or in my cozy Northwest Fresno studio.
What is the best age to schedule a newborn session?
Newborn sessions are the best within the first 14 days, when babies are extra sleepy and curl easily into sweet poses. I offer both wrapped sessions and fully styled sessions.
Where is the studio located?
I am located in northwest Fresno near the Fig Garden Loop. The studio is cozy, minimal, & kid friendly, with refreshments and coloring activities for the little ones to feel comfortable.
How do I book a session?
Send your filled out inquiry form and I well check availability and contact you.
Do you provide outfits and wraps for the newborn photos?
I provide baby items—wraps, headbands/bonnets, and simple props—so you can pack light. Parents and siblings bring their own outfits; I’ll share a style guide and color palettes to make it easy.
Do you help with posing? We're awkward in front of the camera!
Absolutely. My sessions are designed to be relaxed and fun. I'll guide you with prompts so your family's natural love and connection shine through, no stiff poses needed.
When is the best time of the day for family photos?
I love capturing families during golden hour- right before sunset, when the light is soft and glowing. Studio sessions are also available during the day for a timeless, stress-free setting.
Can family be part of our newborn session?
Yes! Partners, siblings—and even fur babies—are welcome. We’ll capture sweet family moments and individual baby portraits for a balanced gallery.
